About Simple Yoga

Experienced and Licensed Instructor

I am Timea, a seasoned yogi and a qualified psychologist, dedicated to guiding individuals on a transformative path to wellbeing.

My love affair with yoga began 22 years ago, and since then, it has been an integral part of my life.

About our classes

My teaching style

As a certified instructor with extensive training in various yoga disciplines, including Hatha, Ashtanga, Senior and Pre-Postnatal yoga. I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to every class. My teaching style is a fusion of traditional wisdom and contemporary understanding, fostering an environment where students can explore their practice at their own pace.

About my background

A journey to transformation

In addition to my expertise in yoga, I hold a BSc (honours) in Psychology, equipping me with a profound understanding of the mind-body connection. This unique blend of qualifications allows me to weave psychological insights into my teachings, creating a harmonious approach that addresses both the physical and mental aspects of well-being. Through this integration, I aim to empower my students to not only enhance their physical strength and flexibility but also cultivate inner peace and emotional resilience.

My classes are designed to cater to practitioners of all levels, from beginners seeking a gentle introduction to advanced yogis looking to deepen their practice. With a focus on mindfulness, breathwork, and alignment, I guide students toward self-discovery and self-care, fostering a sense of balance that transcends the mat.

Join me on this transformative journey, where we embrace the profound benefits of yoga and psychology, creating a space for growth, healing, and inner harmony. Together, let’s embark on a path towards a healthier, more fulfilling life. Namaste.

What People Are Saying

I met Timea a year and a half ago and her brilliant yoga classes have changed me from a stiff, sore hipped person who was just dragging themselves through each day. Now I am a much more mentally balanced and physically flexible person. I am looking forward in my life now instead of backwards and I’m heading towards a brighter future with Timea and her yoga by my side. What more could I want? My joint pain has subsided. I am fitter climbing up all my stairs in my block of flats and I jump out of bed in the morning happy to begin my day. It’s a fabulous way to enrich your life. Take up yoga! But most importantly make sure you choose Timea as your teacher. She is a truly skilled and inspirational person.

Adult Yoga Class

I joined Timea's class through the Ageing Well. Initiative and have and, as time went on, joined her open class as well. Timea's classes are always friendly and calming giving us a gentle physical workout combined with total relaxation to finish. We are encouraged to work within our individual abilities and strengths. Timea is great at providing adjustments or alternatives to suit our needs. It is amazing how different areas of my body as well as my overall well-being have benefited from these classes.

Adult Yoga Class

“Timea has a great understanding of how to work with our age group of 55+.  A different routine each week and I like that we spend time in each posture, without rushing, to ensure a good deep stretch.  Suggestions are always offered to allow everyone to participate within their own ability.  Always leave class with a smile 😊.
